Please take the new start as a platform to spring into new endeavors. Dive into education by attending our numerous conferences, workshops, and trainings. On Saturday September 21st, I attended the "I Can Do It" (classroom management) workshop offered by CTA to new teachers. It was the most relevant training I've received since being a member. Attendees were in the same situation, so we could relate and the trainers were seasoned teachers who could help you through every situation. Besides being so great, the training was free. I just gave one Saturday and received years of wisdom in return. I encourage everyone to take the same opportunity and attend SCTA/CTA's informational and inspirational events! |
Every year, on the first day of class, I feel a tingly sensation as I enter the classroom. It's a new start for everyone, students and teachers alike. Whatever happened the previous year is put aside deep down in our minds and our soul's energy is replenished, ready to start anew.
