There are times when our members have gone above and beyond the call of duty, but yet have never received recognition at the state level. The Student California Teachers Association has recognized and awarded members throughout the state at our Representative Assembly, April 29-30. We have a variety of awards that are given out each year, from "Outstanding Local Chapter Leader" to "Outstanding Chapter Newsletter."

 

Do you know of a leader that has continuously worked hard to recruit members, organize events, reach out to the community, and mentor new leaders?

 

Do you know of an advisor that has excelled in his/her role, provided assistance and encouragement, and has committed their time to the chapter?

 

Do you know of members, even your chapter that has been involved politically, with the community, or other organizations?
