This leadership training is a one & half (1 1/2) day interactive and practical workshop for chapters that employ local support staff. It provides both an overview and substantive information to assist chapters in complying with California's myriad of employment and personnel laws. Participants will learn about hiring and managing their employees, as well as important office procedures and policies. Includes participant interaction and activities. The workshop is a collaboration of the Department of Human Resources Management (DHRM); Legal Services Department; Risk Management & Member Benefits Department; and CSO staff.
