The department develops, negotiates, administers and oversees the association's affinity Member Benefit programs including auto and home insurance, group life and disability plans, credit card plans, discount and entertainment programs and credit union services. The department provides resources to staff and chapters in the area of health and welfare plans, provides support and consulting services to various CTA board advisory committees and provides regional and local training for new member site representatives. Additionally, the department releases many publications and consumer guides that promote CTA's Member Benefit programs. The department is the plan administrator for the CTA Economic Benefits Trust, which funds a no-cost automatic death and dismemberment program, well-baby program and health information program. The department provides risk management services to CTA and chapters and oversees the corporate business, property and liability insurance programs.
