The Department provides for coordination and maintenance of financial data and membership data; verification, processing, recording, monitoring of all receipts and disbursements in compliance with CTA policies and procedures; preparation of financial statements and reports for association members, chapters, leadership, staff, external auditors and other entities as required; facilitation of preparing, implementing and monitoring the budget process with Budget Committee; training and support of agency fee procedures to locals chapters; assistance to chapters, school districts, members and staff regarding membership enrollment and dues accounting matters; and conducts training sessions in the areas of treasurer responsibilities, membership processing, and maintenance of association mailing lists; general accounting and other financial services.
