Songs for children of all abilities

Children love to sing, and early experiences with music and rhyme are integral to their development. But for many children, speech problems make singing along to up-tempo songs and music frustrating because the pace is too quick for them to follow.

Songs

Time to Sing! is a recording that makes singing along easy because it adjusts the tempo and lyrics to fit the needs of children with speech disorders as well as those who find traditional recordings simply too difficult to follow.

Produced by the Center for Creative Play, a nonprofit center, the 73-minute CD features 26 children's favorites, including "Wheels on the Bus" and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." It is recommended for children ages 2-6.

The CD sells for $16.99. For more information, call Big Kids Productions at (800) 477-7811, or visit the Web site [http://www.bigkidsvideo.com/].
